US Airways to meet with unions about “air contamination”
A spokesperson for the Association of Flight Attendants, Judith Murawski, also sent a statement.
“Exposure to oil fumes is a significant concern for US Airways’ crewmembers, so we are glad that the company has reached out and proposed a meeting. We want to discuss measures to prevent future exposure to oil fumes on US Airways flights, and to care of those crews already affected. We hope that US Airways will lead the industry in these regards.”
